I was wondering something.Has anybody ever had carpal tunnel surgery but didn't need. How long will it take for the pain to stop in the palm area? Please if you had the surgery and still suffering from pain. Please let me know what to do.

I had surgery on both hands. It takes awhile for the pain to go away. I had a burning pain that went away immediately after surgery but I still have stiffness in my fingers and hands.Is the pal bothering you from the cut or is that the pain you had before?

Thank you for your reply. No I had never felt this pain before. I never suffered from CTS. I only went in to get a gaglion cyst taken out and woke up and cut in wrong area.

I'm so sorry to hear that it was done in error. It is not something that just goes away. I live with this everyday and it stinks. I wake up feeling like an old lady but I am only 34.....I wish you luck and would consider hiring a lawyer if they did a mistake during sugery.

I have had rt hand done for the burning type pain its better in that respect but very weak hand need alot of work and now going to do left hand on 25th wish me alot of luck ..i agree if you got a botch job get legal advice soon won't hurt anything really good luck!!
