I have carpal tunnel syndrome in both hands as well as neuropathy from chemotheropy in both hands and feet. My neurologist is saying I need to have surgery. So like all of you I have been doing a lot of researce and I'm not hearing good things. I'm glad to be able to read about other peoples experiences to help me make a decision. Dose any one have anything good to say about the surgery? Or should I just live off of percocet the rest of my life.

If you put off having the surgery you could eventually lose the use of your hands. I had it done on both and it helped ALOT.... The constant pain is now gone,so is the burning. My hands will never be perfect again but they are MUCH better. I wish you luck
