I was playing volleyball in school and bumping the ball. After gym, my forearm started to hurt, like 2 inches away from my elbow. I cant tell if there is swelling but when i make a fist and turn it to the side, a bone or muscle or somthing seems to be sticking up more than when i do it to my left arm. does anyone know what kind of injury it is, if it is 1 at all. and also, if its anything really serious cause im hoping its not since i just started up softball again. thanks in advance.

Does it hurt when you extend your wrist or fingers against resistance? Sounds like you may have lateral epicondylitis ( tennis elbow ). Ice, rest, and an elbow strap or wrist extension splint may help.
