I have been scouring this board for side effets of this med. there have been so many aspects of it that have been super positive for me, but, I have been having a difficult time with dry/painful eyes....I am wondering if anyone has had this as a side effect with Wellbutrin......I would hate to unnecessarily go off of this medication but my eyes are really driving me crazy......any help on side effects would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance.

How long have you been on it? I just switched from Cymbalt to Wellbutrin XL 3 days ago..no side effects yet. I do hope that annoying eye thing goes away soon!!!!

I had some issues with dry mouth for a few months, but it eventually went away. How long have you been on it? If less than a few months, Id try to get through it to see if it goes away. Looking back, it took me at least 2-3 months for the dry mouth to go away.
In the meantime, have you tried using those natural tears eye drops. They might help and you can use the natural tears one as often as you need. Just be sure to read the labels. Some of them you can only use every so often.

I had the same side effect, and I am using the natural tear drops that Muscn mentioned. It does help.

Ive been on Wellbutrin SR for 3 days and noticed a dry mouth. To be honest I didnt think too much of it as I dont tend to drink very much so thought that was it. Now youve mentioned it maybe thats got something to do with it.

I have been on and off of Wellbutrin for over four years.....I also had laser eye surgery at about the same time that I first started well b ....it is hard to tell what is causing my eye problems (more likely the surgery) that is why I was wondering if anyone else had this problem.....I also (at the beginning) had dry mouth and pretty bad headaches......and, some anxiety (with the higher dose of 450 mg).....but overall I have had good results with this med. thank you again...
