Seems for me on days when it is cold/rainy/snowy out and there is no sun i feel pretty bad even if i had been feeling good the day before.. but on the days when its sunny and warm out i feel tons better... like if something stressful happens in my life on a sunny day it dosent get me down i just deal with it.. but on the dark cloudy days if the same stressful thing were to happen it knocks me down and i feel crappy.. also i never seem to want to go out on the crummy weather days.. but when its nice out its hard to keep me inside and i get all jittery if i have to stay inside or home..

Hi PunkDizzle
It sounds like you have Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD). Most people feel better when it's sunny outside. But some people seem to "overreact" to lack of sunlight, and they get down and sad, like you.
I would suggest talking with a doctor to see what can be done to remedy this problem. There are light boxes that may provide you with the, albeit artificial, light that you need when it's blah outside.
Good Luck! :)

Light boxes do work wonders for a variety of depression. My husband uses one, but he doesn't have SAD. He seems to have it year round. But since he started using the light therapy, just 20 minutes a day, it has made a world of difference and no meds involved.... yeah... :D I wish you luck in finding what works best for you....

I use a light box as well and it works wonders. You may also be sensitive to changes in atmospheric pressure, and as yet, there is no treatment for that part. The light box will make a huge difference, though.
