I was told that BTZ no longer makes the curl maker. Can you guys tell me if it was a cream? I bought some stuff yesterday that is pretty good, but it was called kick up your curls (I think) and it was creamy and smelled like sun tan lotion. I'm hoping they just changed the name and this is the same thing.

Not the case, according to people at Sally Beauty Supply. The Noodle Head curl maker has NOT been discontinued at all. The small size (1.6 oz) is no longer being made but the larger tube (6 oz) is readily available. Really, why would a company discontinue making one of their best selling products?

Just going by what I heard. I was asking, not telling.
From what I read on here, I went in search of something called "noodle head curl maker". That NAME no longer exists...it used to. Now, apparently, it is called curling cream, kick up your curls.

I've heard people on this board saying great things about Noodle Head. Is this only for people with curly hair, or will it make straight hair wavy/curly too??

As far as I know, this will make curly hair look very nice, shiny and not frizzy. It will also help wavy hair to get more of a curl. It will most likely not do anything for completely straight hair (as I was told by people who have used it as well as people working at Sally's Beauty Supply).

I asked at Sally's & was told the same thing - as far as they know it's not being discontinued. There are several products in the NoodleHead line - there is a shampoo, a conditioner, a reactivator, & the original product.
