View Full Version : Can stress cause hemroids to bleed

I had a colonoscopy back in January. The GI doctor removed 2 extremely small polyps, and he told me that I had hemroids. However, he told me that the hemroids were not bad enough to have surgery. He prescribed me some suppositories. I've been taking warm bathes, increased my fiber intake, and take colace twice a day. For a while, I was fine, but for the last two bowel movements there was a little blood. I've been very stressed lately, and I was wondering if stress could cause this to happen, along with lower back pain? Also, is there anything besides surgery that can make hemorids go away completely?
