Ok well about two and a half weeks ago, I had a couple episodes of nausea ramdomly out of the blue. Then I started noticing lower pelvic pain but it seemed to be more to the right side. The next day I was driving home and just wanted to double over in ER said oh its bacterial vaginosis and thats why all the pain and nausea. I didnt think it should cause that amount of pain and nausea as I had had bv once before and didnt even know I had it. I used the metrogel but wasnt any better after a week and I woke up about two days after I finished the gel I thought I had a UTI (I have had kidney probs in the past and have had my fair share of UTI's) called my pcp she sent me to have a urine culture done and it didnt show ANY sign of infection and there was no elevated white blood count. Well, my pcp said it is prob female related go see the obgyn went there and they said nope nothing female related and the bv is cleared up and that the ER doc lied and that bv should NEVER cause pain and nausea like that. So back to my pcp I went and in the meantime all this time I am getting worse and when I got to the pcp's office I started throwing up so she checked me over didnt think it was appendicitis but wanted me to have a CT scan STAT to rule it out. They did an abdomen/pelvis CT and they didnt find anything! My pcp put me on Cipro and gave me pain med and she thinks its possible to have some kind of infection of the gi tract somewhere so wants me to take the antibiotic and then update her. Since my WBC is not elevated I dont think there is an infection but someone shouldn;t hurt like this and throw up for no reason. Its been two weeks of this pain now and it goes and comes sometimes I think its easing up and then wham the pain hits. I am not even able to get up and do anything hardely and the nausea at times is bad. (not throwing up anymore though only those few times that one day) I have now started my period and the cramps of that on top of all this is killing me! Anyone have any clue what this could poss be??? I just cant keep hurting like this...

P.S. The pain is lower right quadrant pain and occasional pelvic pain but diff more to the right. We are talking the kind of pain that makes you evil/angry it hurts so bad at times...Oh and here is a list of the medical probs I have, Asthma, severe panic and anxiety attacks, GERD, Sleep Apnea, Have had two miscarriages and also have cervical dysplasia if any of that tells you anything...

One thing that came to mind was possible fibromyalgia. It can cause at times severe pelvic pain and nausea. The pain of fibromyalgia can often be debilitating.

Do you have any muscle/joint pain and/or stiffness? A rheumatologist would diagnose this. It can wreak havoc on your body.

Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS) can also cause pain and GI problems. Ulcerative colitis is another that came to mind.

I hope you're able to find relief soon! Let us know!

Love and Prayers, Kelly
