I've always had this odour down there and discharge. I've been to my doc several times and have tested for UTI's bacterial vag ETC ETC. Is it normal to have this odour? Cause its always there and my tests always comes back negative.

Can the doc tell if I have BV by taking a swab?

how caan I prevent BV

A fishy odor is normal...as odd as this sounds...so if that is what it smells it could just be your normal secretions

Mmm, I don't think "fishy" is normal. Some women smell stronger than others, but a healthy vagina shouldn't smell fishy. If you've always had this same odor, and it's not horrible, it may be normal for you. Yes, doctors can test for BV with a swab.

If you have been tested for BV then it's clear it's not any infection and that is just normal to you. Do you wear 100% cotton underwear? This is very important. Also eating yogurt will help. Try that.
