View Full Version : Constant Headache - 2 Weeks Running, Help!!

Hi -- my fiance has had a headache which was triggered, we think, by changing birth control pills. She continued to take the pills for 5 days, and then with the head-ache still there, stopped. That was 10 days ago, and the head ache is still completely there.

The headache is always in the same spot, which becomes visually swollen. Its behind the right temple, over the eye and is severe enough to swell that side of the head. The vein on the forehead sometimes also becomes quite visibly pronounced.

She's gone to get an MRI and is scheduled for an EEG but we don't particularly believe in the doctor.

Is this ok? Are there any clues/hints for what's going on?

There are some more pieces of evidence for what might be happening
After stopping the pill, she's stopped smoking for the last 3 days, hoping that will help.

Has anyone gone through this?
Thanks
Paul and Milena

I haven't had this but it is really good to get the MRI & EEG done. That will help a lot in diagnosing. I wanted to wish you good luck and hope she finds out what is causing it!

Just remember you can always get a second opinion!!
