Sponsor jamski767 04-10-2005, 08:52 PM ive went through many many tanners, and the best ive gotten..is the neutrogena sunless tanning INSTANT BRONZING foam....make sure u get the instant bronze..and make sure its the foam...not lotion...so u can see where it goes... its fool proof...the best time is to put it on before u go to bed, then when u wake up...u can take a shower..it says that u can leave on for like an hour or two...then get in water..but dont it will come right off..and it might look silly bc its so dark..but once u take a shower it will look fine..and when ur taking a shower, and the water starts to run dark brown...dont worry! its supposed to ..its just the color guide washing off, ur tan will still be there... i always get the deep color, but im sure they all work good... and u might want to get some rubber gloves to apply...or just make sure u wash ur hands really really good mf2 04-10-2005, 09:07 PM Just to add to Alias's question...What do you do about your face? Do you put tanning lotion on it? Wouldn't it look silly if you had a tanned body and a less-tanned face? Just curious... :) mf2 jamski767 04-10-2005, 10:30 PM u can use the sunless tanner on ur face..it works just as well but they also have the sunless tanners just for the face..but i dont think they work as well...just use the same stuff as u put on ur body let me know if u decide to try it Chantel2003 04-11-2005, 08:08 AM What's a good fake tan (over the counter and cheap would be a plus) for very, VERY pale skin? Hi:) I use neutrogena sunless tanning lotion. I have very pale skin and I use the "medium" in that one. You should use gloves to put it on because I've applied without gloves before and even if you wash, it sometimes still tans your palms. You can also apply the lotion to your face. The only thing about the lotion is that you have to apply it evenly or you will get streaks. Chantel Madonna 04-11-2005, 01:39 PM I tried the Neutrogena spray on "airbrush tan" that is in a spray can. It turned out terrible. I couldnt see where it was going and I ended up with streaks up and down my legs. The color was good and it dries fast, however, you cant see where it is applied so your color is uneven. I ended up scrubbing it all off and using a lotion. I do want to try the foam though. tryin2getfit 04-11-2005, 02:04 PM I just got Savage Bronze from Sally's Beauty Supply and it turned out really well. Its a mousse that instantly shows some color so you know where its going, and it turned out really natural with no streaks. jamski767 04-11-2005, 10:49 PM thats y u HAVE to get the instant bronzing foam...trust me...u can see where it goes, that y its so excellent, if u apply evenly..there is no problem hilery79 04-12-2005, 01:14 AM I've been using sally hansen airbrush sun(NOT airbrush legs) and it works really well. It took me a few times to get used to the application since it's an aerosol can, but now that I've got the application down it looks great. It is honestly the best color I've gotten from a sunless tanner so far.(I usually turn pretty orange) If you try it...just make sure to moisturize first and spray a small section at a time and then rub it in well. It also works well for your face. It takes me a couple applications before I get the color I want, but the end result is a pretty golden brown. leslie0784 04-12-2005, 02:23 AM I have the BEST tanner ever! It's the new Jergens Glow lotion. You put it on as a moisturizer daily and it gradually tans your skin. I've only used it three times and I'm a shade darker with NO streaks! It's at Wal-Mart and it's 5 dollars. It's available for fair and medium skin tones and the best part is it doesn't have that stinky smell of tanning lotion. It cost under $5 and slowly, lightly gives a very natural color, subtle. hilery79 04-12-2005, 11:53 AM What is the color like with the Jergens? I know it's light, but does have an orange tint at all? I'll have to try it! I used to mix some of my st lotions with regular lotion to drown out the dha smell, so the Jergens product sounds like a good idea. leslie0784 04-12-2005, 07:11 PM It hasn't made my skin orange at all and it's lasted through shaving and exfoliating too. This is basically a moisturizer that lightly darkens your skin, I used it once and could see a subtle change, and the next time a tiny bit more. It says to apply each day like your regular moistuizer. I love it; it's one of the few that does not turn yellowy-orangey on me. Since I don't go tan in the sun anymore, this is the bomb! I got it at Walmart, and it was hidden away on a bottom shelf, nearly didn't find it. I think this is going to go off the shelves quickly! Can't beat the price either. |
