I'm not really sure if this is what you would call GERD, I'm trying to figure it out. Every so often I have like a burning feeling in my throat, I used to call it heartburn, but it's always just in my throat, I take to Rolaids or Tums and it goes away for a while. When I do get it, it seems to last about 3 days. I know I aggrivate it by drinking too much coffe, eating accidy foods, etc. I'm just trying to figure out what to call it, do those sound like GERD symptoms?

This is probably a dumb question, but what is LES damage?
