Please help me if you can I need ADVICE on this. :confused:
Well I will start with a brief history then I'll get to the topic quickly,Im a kidney stone fromer since age 15. Currently I have multiple stones in both kidneys.My ureters are swollen so I am having surgery to correct this next month.Well my urologists did a renal ultrasound and he decided while he was doing that to just look around he charted I have an enlarged spleen. He sent me 3 different kinds of specialists to help him figure out why I am getting stones.My gastroenterologist I saw for a consultation last week asked me if I had ever had mono becasue my spleen is enlarged according to what my urologist saw and I have never had mono. I told her that and also I have had an enlarged lymph node in my neck for a yr.now that doesnt cause pain but I told her I told my family Dr.about this everytime I see him and he says its an infection and puts me on antibiotics which it doesnt go away obviously he is dumb. I also get what feels like hot flashes sometimes but most of my doctors think i am crazy. I get recurrent low grade fevers bewteen 99 and 100. My gastroenterologist seemed concerned about this and wants to do another ultrasound to focus on my abdomen.intestines and to see if my spleen is still enlarged. I am scheduled for a colonoscopy with biopsys on june 17th which they r putting me completely alseep for.She did blood tests to test for celiac, she did CBC and a SED rate also.She said in the colonoscopy they will be looking for chron's disease,celiac,ulcerative colitis,IBD,and cancer.Because of the symptoms that I have associated with my colon.I know I have a few different condiitons obviously :( but she told me the symptoms I described with the fevers and lymph node being enlarged and being my spleen is enlarged and i never had mono and the hotflashes aren't good signs and she wants to look into it more for lymphoma if the ultrasound i am having on april 20th shows my spleen is still enalrged. I am scred I am to young to have this arent I? Well I just was wondering what others of you experienced as symptoms with lymphoma I need someone to talk to im worried I pray it isnt anything but it just scares me that I would have those symptoms.Please help me

First, I am so sorry that you are going through all this. I am currently awaiting a date for biopsy of 1 lymph nodes as well. I too have temps that are mildly elevated..mine range from 98.8-99.2...and a feeling of chills at times. My dr. says that they do not consider it a low grade fever, though, until you get to about 99.6.
Anyway, lymphomas can occur at any age, though certain types are more likely in older age groups, I believe? Someone correct me if I'm wrong there.
Has your node in your neck gotten any bigger over the course of the past year?

My node in my neck was little for a long time but noticably there like a marble and then a yr.ago it got big really fast when i was sick. It was the size of a golf ball within like 2 weeks ou could see it just lookign at me and it was hurting me to swallow my throat felt swollen from it. It got smaller about an inch big after my infection was gone which isnt much smaller it just doesnt cause pressure when i swallow now but has continually been getting a little bigger it feels long and is a cervical lymph node is what the dr.said.Also my fevers are always closer to 100. I was wondering i hear a lot about night sweats on this board... i wake up and im real hot someitmes but im not sweaty i just take my covers off.as I explained i get hotflashes in like the middle of the day is that associated with lymphoma or i thought it was from my hormones? lol please help :rolleyes:

Mine are also cervical nodes. One that is able to be felt is 1.8cm x .5 cm. I have a chain of 3 more slightly enlarged but not able to be felt, just seen on U/S. I also have one node near my underarm area as well.

The nightsweats or flashes of heat could be due to either lymphoma or the hormones. Are you going to have a biopsy done?

U know I am not sure what they are going to do for it yet. Im going to discuss the ultrasound results and blood tests with my dr.when i see her on may 5th i get the ultrasound on april 20th... Then we will see from there she said. I hope they figure it out I dont want it to jsut sit there! :rolleyes: u know? But my Dr.seems concerned enough so I will talk to her and I will let u know how that gos. Hopefully my spleen isnt still enlarged by then cross fingers.....But as for the lymph node i dont see it leaving anytime soon

I talked my Dr.today and he said my spleen should be about 4.8 x 2.8 x 1.6" for a normal size and he replied that mine is ----------------9.8 x 4.1 x 4.2 " so he said they will take one problem at a time and figure out what is going on there because in the office I dont have any signs of bacteria or RBC in my urine but I am voiding leukocytes aka(white blood cells) now.Does anyone know if that is a sign of lymphoma i didnt knwo what he meant by that i thought white blood cells meant u had an infection but no nitrite/bacteria was present.
