Hi Everyone -

I was hoping someone could lend me a hand in determining the value, or lack of, the supplements I am taking. They have not been prescribed by a doctor, but from my research, it seems that these are pretty good supplements for general disease prevention:

Okay - the list:

Co-Q10 - 100 mg per day
Flax Seed Oil - 2 Tbsn a day
Selenium - 100 mg a day
Alpha Lipoic Acid - 100 mg a day
Green Phyters (2 pills per day)
GNC 26 ingrediant multivitamin - 2 per day

I usually take all the pills over breakfast. What I want to know is:

1. Are these good to take for general disease prevention?
2. What are the detriments to tehse supplements?
3. Is the dosing correct?

Thank you all in advance:
Marlon

Marlon, the best Vitamin is Co-Q10.
100 MG is perfect.
CO-Q10 is expensive.
But its the best vitamin for the heart.
GNC is one of the best Multi Vitamins.
Flax seed is great with the Omega.
I cant comment on the 2 teaspoons.
I take Natures Made 1000 MG of Flax Seed.
This is a great vitamin for the body.
Selenium is another good vitamin.
Its gonna keep you in good health.
You got a good routine.
