Has anyone ever had shoulder/rotator cuff surgery performed?
I have yet to receive my M.R.I. results. But It's very likely I have a tear in my
rotator cuff area.

Any suggestions, advise, or comments will be of great help.

Would you suggest surgery vs Prolotherapy?
Was was the condition of injury before surgery or therapy performed.
Recovery time/ Healing process?
Type of surgery?
Current strength and range of motion after surgery?
Any good doctors in the San Francisco,(bay area) in California?

Thank You

I have been doing physical therapy for almost 2 months now for a frozen shoulder. I had an MRI and was advised that I have a rotator cuff tear. After 2 months of P. T. and continuing my exercises at home, I have decided to postpone the surgery although I am advised against doing that. I have almost complete range of motion right now and I am pain free. I am a candidate for arthroscopic surgery which is not a bad surgery, but the rehab is long and difficult. I am no longer taking the physical therapy in a professional setting but am faithful to at home exercises.
Have you had your surgery yet?
