Marie55 04-14-2005, 12:52 PM At age 16 hormones are going crazy but will level out. Cloverberry52 04-17-2005, 08:16 AM worrying about it is going to cause you to age more. You're 16. You don't need to worry about these things. liza 04-17-2005, 02:47 PM i am worried about my body, i feel that it is aging too fast. i am a 16 yo male, but have wrinkles and have a beard (i mean really thick), i need to know is this common or do i have a problem? You can shave the beard but you shouldn't have wrinkles. Are you in the sun alot? Always use sun block if so. Is your skin dry? If so, that can cause your skin to look wrinkled since it is dry. You would probably want to exfoliate and use a moisturizer. desertdweller 04-18-2005, 05:44 PM I am 40, yet people confuse me for being in my 20's all the time. My best advice is to take care of your skin. Always use sun screen, wear sunglasses with UVA protection to keep from squinting in the sun. Never, I mean never, rub hard or pull at the skin under your eyes. This is delicate tissue and constant rubbing will eventually cause wrinkles. Get 8 hours sleep whenever possible too. TearZ 04-18-2005, 09:41 PM 16 with wrinkles and a really thick beard?? I think someone is playing us :) A_rafferty 05-12-2005, 10:31 PM if you smoke or drink, stop! try drinking a lot of water, that helps. :) southjerseymom 05-25-2005, 09:09 PM I agree with the above posts. When I was 16, people thought I was 19 or 20 (I'm female). Actually I liked looking older. I think it was because of my shape( girls mature faster than boys) so I didn't mind. Now that I'm about to turn 37, I look younger( a nurse thought 28!). Taking care of your skin, using sunblock, moisturizer, avoiding the sun, smoking , and excessive alcohol are key. Genetics plays a role too. but for the most part lifestyle and your environment take on a stronger role in how you age. Don't worry! easymistake 06-06-2005, 02:29 PM thanks, i do live in quite a bad environment, i dont smoke anymore but i do drink alot. i am also a veggie (for the past year and a half anyway) so i think it may just be genetics like you said. thank you, and D3ViN3^BRUN3T no offence mate i know what you are thinking but you would be supprised if you saw it. shnswms 06-07-2005, 01:58 AM Do not feel bad! When I was in high school people thought I was in my late 20s! lol. I finally leveled out and look my age now. |
