i had an abdominal ultrasound today followed by a transvaginal one. a prior catscan showed a 6.5 and 3 something centimeter complex mass on my left ovary and they wanted to look at it again but through these technigues. i am concerned. up until now, my symptoms have been horrendous gas and indigestion, bloating, and minor discomfort, change in bowels and some occassional rectal bleeding. plus weght gain..yuck. the transvaginal exam was painful. now i have pain in the area of my right ovary and down my thighs and in my lower back. my body feels very shaky and i keep going from hot to cold. anyone have this kind of a reaction to a transvaginal ultrasound?

I don't think it comes from the ultrasound, but more from your medical condition. I hope you get better!

thanks. the tvu just confirmed that it is a segated..i think he called it, complex mass on my ovary.
