Making this post short, pulled lower back yesterday and in bad pain. Would like to hear of those that had the artificial done, trying to find a USA doctor to do it. Need re done fusion on my failed cervical and now looks like need the fusion on the lumbar, L5 discectomy done but now collapsed along with l3-5 buldging.

We were in a Neuro's office yesterday who is doing the ADR's They only do new ones, not ones after fusion. I am not sure if you are asking about an ADR to be done after a failed fusion, or a new one for your lumbar.

Hi, Betty I guess I wouldn't be able to get it for the failed fusion, but maybe on my lumbar? Atleast they could eleviate that deteriation and maybe do a revsion of my cervical at the same time? I just want the best surgeon this time, don't want to risk having a bad outcome again. I'm doing everything in my power right now, getting an mri set up and checking out surgeons. The one surgeon I cked out does not do artificial discs. From what I hear the artificial disc is the best way to go? What did your surgeon say about it?
