My doctor said that I could up my intake of B Vitamins and that may help with fatigue. I take a high dose multip B vitamin with the B6, B12, Ect. conbined. But I am a little worried because it already contains such high doses (like 2,000% of the daily value, but most b-vitamins are like that) Is it OK to take more than one? Can taking too many B vitamins harm me?

I started getting B12 injections this past Friday. I'll go in weekly for 3 months and hope to see a difference. My doctor said that you can't OD on B12 but didn't mention any other B in specific.

Hi,
I would recommend you do a search on Vit B-6. I also take B-12 and B-6, but I've read that B-6 can be a bit dangerous if taken in high doses - it affects your phsyche. I haven't read anything negative for B-12. As long as you're being closely monitored by your doctor then I guess it's okay - if not, you should discuss with him/her.
As with any drug and vitamin, please research them before taking too much. So far I'm very happy with both, but I do take care to not take too much.
Good luck!

Women in their 40s who notice this fatigue in relationship to B vitamin injections..I have had a uterine ablation and in my mid 40s..fatigue is really hampering my life..is it B12 that helps the most and do you find you may lose this in the pre menopause phase? How many mgs were recommended and how long does this shot last..I am very interested in discussing this with my doc.

My mom was diagnosed with a B-12 deficiency (pernicious anemia) and the shots helped her TREMENDOUSLY. I think you can take B supplements without danger since they are not fat soluble and will be eliminated from the body in the urine. I have heard the B-6 warning though so just to be safe I would limit that one.
