I had a weird dream last night.

I dreamed that I had been jailed for something (not sure what).
The jail was an old jail, looked like caves with iron bars in it. I was in a cell with another person.
the jailers were young children.
I was being taken back to my cell, when we walked past a modern indoor heated swimming pool. i asked my jailer if I could swim.
Still on the way back to my cell I asked my jailer if I could appea my sentence, he said I must type out my appeal (not computer).

as he was letting me into my cell, I saw these worms, at first I thought they were falling on me, but on looking closer, they were coming out of me.

What does this dream mean??

What a dream! I have no idea what it means, but have you been frightened recently or seen a disturbing event or movie? Or possibly read something that scared you? I don't believe it's an omen or anything like that. The mind still works while we sleep, but the mind becomes less organized while we're sleeping and it roams quite freely at times. Try not to worry about it.

If you have done anything that may not even be illegal, but according to maybe your morals you feel is wrong then that can make you dream things like that. Let me give you an example I'm a very honest person, but there have been times in my life that survival instincts have kicked in. Before my now husband and I were married we lived together for a short time. He was court ordered to pay $1250.00 in alimony and child support. At that time that left him with $400.00 every two weeks(net pay). At that time we rented and our rent was $400.00 not counting food, car ins., car payment, and having 2 children at the time. Oh! yea I forgot utilities. So I went to apply for foodstamps and they said they had to count his gross income which with health insurance and taxes was about another $400.00 that we didn't actually get. They also said they could deduct the child support so I think I qualified for about $50.00 a month in foodstamps. What the was that going to feed? So I went back a week later and told them me and my boyfriend had broken up and got $487.00 a month to feed my children. Not only was that illegal, but morally wrong. Thank God I have never had to do anything like that again. I think I justified it to myself by us not be married, but it was still wrong. After about a month I had a very similiar dream without the worms. I think I was getting beat by other inmates LOL. However after three months I reported we were back together and started going to the food pantry instead. I have never had a dream like that since. And God has blessed us over and over and my kids never go hungry and I pray lifes circumstances never puts us back unto a situation were we have to worry about were our next meal is coming from. LMG

Hi Graham....I love dreaming...sometimes I'm so entertained, I don't want to wake-up :D

Dreams can be a tad on the weird, bizarre or scary side, but they are our subconscious thoughts in symbols.

I have a dreambook and looked up a few things for you. You'd have to apply them to your situation and see how it all makes sense.

CAVE
~ our inner selves
~ walking in caves represents a change of state and a deeper understanding of one's negative impulses

JAIL/PRISON
~ perceived outside influences of feeling trapped or life difficulties..but really is self-created (emotional, material or spiritual level)
~ self-created prison through a sense of duty or guilt
~ feeling trapped through guilt or duty....preventing one from seeing a way forward

CHILD/CHILDREN
~ our inner child -- curious and child-like aspect of ourselves
~ allowing ourselves wholeness which we may not have recognised in the past (through our child-like perspective)

POOL
~ need to understand our emotions and inner feelings
~ pool suggests an inner cleansing from old traumas, emotions, past misdeeds

WORMS
~ depending on one's perception toward sexuality and gender (very basic meaning), the worms could be a sense of threat.
~ feelings of ineffectiveness and insignificance (perceived by ourselves or others)
~ capability of change to happen soon

I can't find anything about appeal/request/change attitude or opinion/statement (or anything like that)....but this is what I think it means: asking for forgiveness or you having to state an apology or ask for one....but it will not be easy or fast in coming (easy communication like through computer which mistakes can be corrected easily)...but through more effort and one that might take a while. I see that as meaning communication which will not be easy, it could mean towards yourself and not necessarily another person.

This is really an awesome dream from my perspective. One of great introspection. I hope things work out for you.

My best,

I don't believe dreams mean anything. It's just a conglomeration of things that happened to us,we heard happening to others, things in the news, things we read... and we put it all together to make a stupid story. I have found this with every one of MY dreams. Say I dreamt that I was walking in the woods in snow and got sticks stuck in my foot, then I saw a sinking boat with someone screaming and waving a gun at me. I could always come up with what happened that day or the previous day, such as I was reading a book on Mount Everest; my daughter 2 days earlier got a splinter in her toe: my husband was talking about his boat having a small leak; and I watched a movie where some people got shot... THIS is what I believe dreams are because it works out almost every single time.

Did you recently hear anything about jails? Read about them? hear about it on the news? (Subconsciously putting yourself there) Did someone recently around the same time tell you they are going to open their pool? Go swimming? I mean really really think about each section of the dream.

And it doesn't have to be exact... like suppose you were passing a house and you saw that they had a storm door, the ones with black bars on it and you had a fleeting thought, "Oh, that looks like a prison door!", the thoughts in wake time may be fleeting, but they'll come out in a dream, in a different way.
