This is very embarassing and i cant believe im doing this but here it goes. (i hope this is the right board) I am a 24 yr old male and i am abnormally hairy and dont know what to do about it. I already have a lot of hair on my back, my chest, shoulders, and butt. My arms and legs are also quite hairy and it grows thick.

Now i know some might think what is the big deal but this is a very diffucult thing for me to deal with. I cant take of my shirt in public(because im soo embarassed) so i cant go to the beach or go swimming in a pool. I cant have a girlfriend because of the fear of being imtimate and having to take of my shirt.(also many females find hairy guys very unattractive and i cant blame them, i look like a freaking ape) Also i used to play a lot of sports when i was younger but dont anymore for the fear of people seeing how hairy i am. I feel like the way i look is limiting what i can do with my life.

So i guess that brings me to my main question which is what i can do about this or if any guys have the same problem as me. I mean i know i could get waxed but that just doesnt seem reseasonable considering how much it would cost and how fast my hair grows. I feel like such a freak and that i will always be single because of the way i look.

anyway thank you to anyone that replies.

You aren't alone. I have a friend in Atlanta that had the same problem. He saved $$$ and did the laser hair removal. It's expensive, but he said well worth it. You can do a search on the web to get more details. Good luck!

Laser my friend. I am not very hairy but I have dark hair so I could do the same in the future. I do not have much hair but its noticable since its dark. For you, Laser. I think that would be the best bet.

You can electric shave it off. I did/do, the only drawback is that it grows back thicker and a little longer over time. Then have a good tan so the hair don't show up easily with white skin. The laser and other removal metods are just too costly and painful! There are women that do not mind body hair at all. I have had many girlfriends in my 20s and have been married for many years now. I would prefer no hair over what I have had for 25 years now, but having an accepting wife and step-kids has helped a lot. Hang in there, your views, feelings and perceptions will change in 20 years. Take up sports that it is fashionable to wear a shirt...golf, tennis, cycling etc.. Also women and people in other countries don't have the same thoughts about body hair as us Americans do...you have to experience that for yourself. I did.
