I got a horrible cold about a month ago, and a few weeks after, my upper chest started feeling really tight late at night....with a mild aching/burn at the base of my adams apple. Sometimes I lose my voice on the last few words of a sentence and sort of wheeze. For the past few weeks, this sensation comes and goes...some days it is not present at all.

Today has been the worst. Now I have a tickle type cough and I am burping every 10 minutes. I feel fine otherwise, not bloated. I do drink a lot of wine, coffee, and soda...as well as eat a protein/fat/low carb diet. I am just getting really concerned. Went to the doctor yesterday and she gave me an antibiotic--said my chest, ears, and throat seemed fine.

....I don't know what to think? any ideas? :angel:
