i was at the hospital today as i have been having pain in my hand, there is also a lump on my wrist, pain in arm, amnd weakness. the dr says i have to have a nerve x-ray what is this for is it painful and what will it show up if anything

He might be talking about a arthogram(sp) where they inject dye into the wrist to see if there is any entrapment, fractures etc. Or they may do an EMG which isn't really all that bad.
