I have had tons of problems after having a baby two and a half years ago. I passed a huge blood clot the day after I had my baby. I've suffered from a ton of undiagnosed problems, and recently my doctor told me I have several blood clots in my right arm, one in my right leg, and a calcified blood clot in my right pelvis. he doesn't think it is any big deal, but I would like to have someone who knows more about blood clots check it out. I got varicose veins at a very early age, and I've always been concerned about blood clot issues.
What kind of doctor should I see? Is there a blood clot specialist? :)

First of all are you taking coumidin? You should be on this in hopes to prevent any other clots from forming...I would go to a internal medicine specialist....if they can not help you then look for a vascular surgen or a vascular doctor of some sort....I know what you are going thru.....good luck

No, I'm not on coumadin. My doctor said they would just go away, but that was at least a couple weeks ago, and they haven't changed any. I have so many undiagnosed problems, that I can't help but think this is more than just a simple unrelated superficial vein problem. I think it could be a symptom of something else, but I don't know what. Thanks for the advice!
