Hey, I'm new here and have a question. I'm having surgery tomorrow and have a 3 and 5 year old at home. I'm not sure what method of surgery I will have- if it will be open or arthroscopic. First, has anyone had the arthroscopic and it didn't work so you had to have a second surgery? Second, after surgery what meds. you had to take and were they necessary. Just would kind of know ahead of time how long my hubby may have to stay with me. Thanks for any help you may provide.

Hey There,
I'm having surgery in 1 week and to my knowledge there is no arthoscopic for ct. I have been using Neurontin and it has really helped the nerve discomfort. Pain pills will help the actual incision site and muscular discomfort...but it doesn't affect the discomfort from the nerves, so I am going to request using the Neurontin after my surgery as well. Good luck to you and I hope it helps!
