Hi,
The past couple days I have had a pain in my wrist , rioght where the hand meets the wrist. Its not a sharp pain, but more like a dull pain. It was sorer when I woke up today and when I was using the mouse at work. its only in my right hand, which is my dominant hand. I dont really feel a lot of numbness, they never go completely numb. Could this be the beginning of CTS, or just something else? A friend said maybe tendonitis. What is the difference between them?
Any info would be appreciated. Thanks
Carol

I have had the same symptoms as you, but I've had them for a few years. My GP (family dr) keeps telling me it's tendonitis as well. Occasionally, but not more than once a year, I do get numbness in my hand but it is transient. Usually the pain is the biggest symptom and I have found that it is aggravated by computer mouse, carrying grocery bags to the car, and driving to work (for an hour).

Myst,
Do you use a wrist splint or brace or anything? Today it didn't bother me as much, except a couple times when I carried some heavy stuff. This morning though when I woke up it was totally tingly all from the wrist down. But it could just be that I slept wierd. Anyways, thanks for your reply. Let me know what you've been doing to keep the pain level down.
