Hi everyone,
Just to update. A month ago I went to an ent for an annoying lump in my throat. I had the scope throught my nose into my throat. She said my larynx was very red and swollen. She said it was caused by silent reflux since I never have any heartburn. I only have this lump feeling and the feeling of a swollen neck. She started me on nexium 40mg 1x a day. The first two weeks I felt wonderful, now the lump and swollen neck feeling is back big time. So I called her office and the nurse talked to her for me. I thought she would change the nexium dose to 2x day since its reccommended that way for lpr. But instead she prescribed zantac 150mg at bedtime. So now she wants me to take the zantac at bedtime and the nexium in the morning. Does this sound about right?? She wants me to do this for a month and then call her to let her know how I'm doing. What does everyone think?
Any thoughts are greatly appreciated...........
