I'm a 21 yr old male, who's looking into something new to keep my facial hair at bay.
My current plan is to
1) Apply muscle relaxant/pain relief cream to my face
2) Pluck out every hair on my face with tweezers
3) Wash my face with rubbing alcohol (to prevent bacteria/acne problems)
Does this plan sound good?
Some people are telling me my face will swell up and I'll look terrible... are they right? how long would this last for, if it happens?
Any idea how long the hair will stay out for?
Thanks for any information you can offer.

Are you kidding? You want to tweeze out every hair on your face? :eek: Do you like pain? I'm a female and believe me that is the last thing you want to do. First of all why do you want to remove your hair? A 5 o'clock shadow is very sexy on a guy. Why not just shave every day? I personally get wax jobs and use hair removal cream at home but it will not ever stop the hair from coming back. I have to have my brows done every 4 weeks but the hair is growing back immediately. Tweezing is also necessary for missed hairs. Rubbing alcohol will make your face feel like its on fire. If I were you I'd just shave with a razor. Works for me on my legs every day.

piranha45....What exactly do you want to tweeze on your face? I agree with hersheykiss on the 5 o'clock shadow thing, but if you are wanting to do something with your eyebrows, let a professional waxer do it for you.

piranha45 has been shaving his face every other day for the past 3 years. He's getting impatient with it, and is looking for something to break up the monotony. He's not messing around with his brows; only his moustache and beard and sideburns. Don't mind the 3rd person. {REMOVED}

Well, if you are looking for something permanent, then see a specialist about laser hair removal. It's expensive, but works. I have seen a numbing cream out there, but I spot tweeze my eyebrows in between waxes and I must have gotton use to it since it doesn't hurt. You could numb your face with an ice pack, but I wouldn't tweeze your moustache, beard and sideburns.
