My wrist keeps on getting hurt. It feels like a sprain or something, local pain right in the center (on top) where the hand meets the wrist...the center of the wrist. Usually happens after I suddenly jerk it or do something strenuous after not using it at all. Doesn't hurt non stopped, just when i try to bend it. This has happened like 5 times in 3 years, what is it?

Boosting it up. Tendonitis? Sprain being reinjured? Bone spur? CTS?

Sounds like what you need is a pair of cock-up splints. If you sleep all night with your hands bent towards your wrist it could be causing you problems. Folks with cts often wake in the night with numbness, pain or tingling in the fingers & it's caused by the nerve being trapped at the wrist.
Best wishes
