View Full Version : Lighten Hair?

I am a regular teen, with normal body hair. My friends have light hair so you do not really notice it but I have dark hair so its very noticable. I have heard of the sun lighting up the hair making it a blondish color, but this would take a lot of time. I was wondering if there is any lotion or product which does this quickly ( while in sun, or otherwise ). Anyone know of any?

I know you can use lemon juice in your hair and sit out in the sun and it's supposed to lighten one's hair. Lemon juice kind of acts as a natural bleaching agent. Are you trying to look like you friends though hair wise? I am confused by how your post reads and what the actual reason you're wanting to lighten your hair is?

No i don't want to look like anyone but the hair on my arms and body stands out because its really dark. I have some friends who are harier than me but they have blonde hair and I can't even notice it. If I had blonde hair ( not on my head, my arms, legs, etc ) it would be better. Don't you think? Shaving is not an option. Nor Waxing or laser because waxing and shaving do not last and laser is too expensive for a teen. Lemon Juice? How much and How long should I keep it?

i97, I understand your problem. With the summer months approaching you could use hair bleaching cream. Not hair removal! Make sure you get the right one!! You can find it at Wal*Mart, any drug stores. Read the directions!
