im on 4 mg risperdal in the morning and 4 at night as well as clozapine at 700mg, i have terrible speech and very tired and lots of weight gain, i was wondering if abilify would be better for these side affects. thanks

do you have to get blood drawn every week? Just the word around the campfire.

yeah at first i had to get blood drawn every week but now i get it every other week

would like to know of the good qualities and side effects abilify. any body taking abilify i would like to know the effects you encountered

Hello, I'm 16 and i'm on a very small dose of abilify,.5 mg. I have to say even the small dose has turned my psychosis around. I suffered from psychotic depression for about 6 months- but it was a long 6 months I've been taking it for about a year now. It toke some time but it did help. I was also on risperdal but they toke me off it because it made my protactel level higher. It is best to take at night because it can make you extremely tired. My weight went up, but we don't know if it was from the serquel or the abilify. But that doesn't matter, what matters is i don't get the thoughts anymore. I'm currently on serqouel, lexapor and abilify. out of the 3 medications that they tried- Abilify has worked out the best for me. I hope your side effects get better
