Hi everybody--

I have a quick question----right now both of my ears feel plugged up, when I talk it sounds like im in a tunnel--I get this a lot with a lot of pressure in my ears. Im wanting my doctor (ENT) to try putting tubes in my ears to see if that will alleviate the pressure, ringing (at least some), and the tunnel feeling--but he wont do it b/c my hearing and pressure tests come back fine. I pass the hearing test but I have the tv blaring at home to hear it and its not normal to feel like your in a tunnel! Good grief! Im going to ask my neuro-oto about it next week when I go--maybe he'll help me out. I've taken all kinds of medicine but nothing helps. Any suggestions???

I have had that problem too! So irritating and can be painful too. I used to hold my nose and blow out, but the doc said not to do that! :nono: Bad for the inner ear. I also have used Sudafed or any other decongestant to try to open them up. I also try to drink lots of fluids hoping to keep everything "moving". These are just my suggestions, hope one of them works. Have you tried decongestants?? :cool:
