I was DX with Hypogammaglobulinenima. So now they are doing testing for what is causing it. It could be just my immune system, but they need to check. They said, Most of the time is is caused by something. They gave me several different disorders, and leukemia. So they sent me to children's Hsp for a certain test. I'm 34 and very out of place.

Here is my fear, from the blood test that I've know for a very long time.
I've always had low blood platelts and anemia. for the last tow years I've had a high white count and in infections go way high. I've saw a topic on peterchina (sp) so I started looking for it and I do have some of thosee spots. Not too many I have a few on both arms some on legs a few on my hands and one bigger one on my boob. I've know i've got them periodicaly but I didn't know what they were.

Should I have anything to worry about where this is concerened?
Now I'm really bothered. I've been really sick for the past few years.

As long as I know, leukemia is usually coming in acute form,so I don't think that if you have long years history of anemia it would be leukemia.

For chronic leukemia usually doctor will find many abnormal results in your WBC with diff. and they will find the abnormalities long time before.

I do hope that your symptoms only because genetically immune system disorder and not malignant.

One thing that I have read, that petechiae also could come from allergy.

Thank you for your thought!
If there is any more thoughts I'd love to hear them.
I have done lots of research on my immune system and What I have come across is people with certain types of immune disorders are more prone to developing certain types of cancers. My doctors are checking me for a certain type of leukemia and other things. They sent me to childrens so I'm not sure what they were looking for?
I just thought I'd see if anyone here knew.
Thanks
K.d.
