hey guys... let me tell you what i'm noticing... and tell me if any or all these symptoms are related to high bp... last bp check 151/100...

eyes.. pressure in the back of the eye lids
occasional color spots
kaleidoscope of colors when opened in a dark room

head: sense of not being 100% 'there'
light headedness
tightness focussed on the back of the head (not a headache reallY)
lethargic
slight vertigo

heart: occasional quick pain on varying spots on left side

thiazide diuretic sideeffect: cotton mouth no matter how much i drink (>3L/day) still concentrated (colored) urine

i'm having difficulty reading for long periods.. and i can't work out without getting extremely dizzy...

is this normal!?

the thiazide worked for a bit..then stopped... i'm only 28 :(

oh..and of course.... blood shot eyes!

Bp is usually symptomless, and yours isn't all that high. But have a check up, something else might well be wrong.

Some of your symptoms are quite possibly related to the thiazide diuretic, particularly dry mouth, dizziness or lightheadedness, and the lethargy especially.

If you're feeling lousy and the thiazide isn't bringing down your BP anyway, talk to you doctor about a different med.
