Got any suggestions to deal with employers who are nosy about your cerebral palsy?

What to do if parents of students with disabilities discriminate against you, when you feel that you are qualified for the job?

What should you do if you may need accommodations, but these will not be provide d unless you document in writing and send it to the "main boss", but you do not want others to know this information due to the possibility of job discrimination?

What do you do if parents do not trust you because of your disability?

Snailmailqueen,
You can't get a teaching job because of your cp? That makes me very very mad. The school systems can't do that. Well I guess they are doing that. That isn't right at all. I am sure you are a wonderful educator. Teaching has nothing to do with cp. Have you filed a discrimination lawsuit or anything? Keep on trying for a teaching job. Teachers with cp make the best teachers (in my obviously biased opinion).
