Hi, I'm new here, although I posted on the old board a while back.
I am 22, and have very, very mild Spastic Diplegia CP. A neurologist put me on oral Baclofen; I have been on it for 4 days now. However, I don't really notice improvement in movement. If anything, movement seems more awkward... today I did experience a drowsiness/confusion/hallucination side effect though. And I had a really strange orgasm, as well, which I don't know if it's affected by Baclofen, but it seems it would be, since it's a vaginal muscle spasm that results in orgasm.

It does seem that when I stretch, it is more comfortable to stretch. But how much time do you spend stretching in your life as opposed to walking?

I would like to hear from others who have tried Baclofen. How long did it take to see results? What should I be looking for? Please also let me know what type and severity of CP you have. I don't really know this neurologist who examined me, and I don't completely trust him yet, so I would like to hear personal stories. Thank you all in advance http://www.healthboards.com/ubb/smile.gif
