A friend sent me this poem. He has also been very sick and finally in January was blessed with a "new heart" and had a very long surgery and as of today the heart has not rejected. I would like to share this poem with everyone. It truly touched my heart:
It's so unfair that this illnhess has forced its way into your life
I can hardly fathom the see saw of emotions you must be going through, cannot imagine the worry and the pain your dealing with
But what I can imagine is your amazing spirit rallying within you to give you courage to be brave and the tenacity to face each question or challenge, one at a time, for as long as it takes.
What I can envision is the light that is within you,
more powerful then ever, that will lead you throught this-that will continue to shine with grace and strength and determination.
And I can also promise that your fight is shared-that you're being sent more loving, healing thoughts than you could possibly imagine
