Hey Lou! It's fine - like I said, it was basically right over the nail, missing the joint, thank God. Mean scooter-driver or no, right now I'm just trying to be a patient patient; I really wish I could curl my toe, but I know it'll take a good long while. It's amazing how stiff you get. When I started PT, we were just working on moving everything - now we're still doing that but adding strength.
They had me on the treadmill walking backwards at a Level 10 Incline - no faster than 1.2 mph. Nervewracking only because you have to keep going.....backwards really helps that toe-ball-heel motion.
The hardest exercise by far is standing on my healing foot and trying to raise up to stand on my toes, just on that one foot. Right now it's almost possible, but very frustrating!
