For the last 5 days, my left foot has been hurting and I've been limping. It doesn't seem to be getting any better, possibly even worse. The weird thing is, I have no idea how I did it. I certainly can't remember dropping anything on my foot. There's no bruise, just a little swelling. The pain is on the top of my foot and is somewhere between the 2nd and 3rd toe and it hurts when I touch that spot. Anyone had this before? The only thing I can think of is I've been doing a lot of gardening before. I can't see how this could have done anything?

Just a suggestion because I had something similar last fall. I had attended a festival and done a lot of walking on uneven ground. the top of my foot, between the 3rd and 4th metatarsal started to hurt, there was a little swelling and sore to the touch. I had x-rays taken and was told that I probably aggravated the arthitis in my foot. It took about two weeks to clear. Maybe you just over-worked your foot. Take it easy and hopefully it will be feeling better soon. Good Luck -eko

Thanks! I was worried I'd broken it or something. ;) You've put my mind at rest!
