I have been having lots of superficial blood clots and lots of pain...now something weird is going on in my head, and I'm afraid I may have some blood clots in my head.

I have almost went to the Emergency Room for this, just to make sure, but the two hospitals I would go to don't have MRI machines on site. So how would they check for deeper blood clots?

I have an appointment with my doctor tomorrow, but I've already waited so long and my head feels so strange with pain and tenderness...
