Hi all. I am just wondering what medication works best for muscle twitches. I have heard that klonopin is good, but I dont know much about the drug. Does anyone know of any drugs that help that dont have many bad side effects? Thanks for your help.

Klonipin is a pretty heavy duty benzo and I think wayy too much to try for a muscle twitch.i would start by taking a supplimental magnesium tab.You can get this at any drug store.low magnesium levels can and also potassium can cause anything from minor twitches to major muscle spasming and contortions.i would see your doc for some simple blood work.He would be able to tell you whether it is a suppliment issue or not.FB
