My son was recently diagnosed with PFAPA after three years of trying. For those who don't know, PFAPA is a syndrome that is distinguished by episodes of high fever and other symptoms that happen in a regular cycle. Does anyone have more information or know of a parent support group. I would like to know how parents deal with the school. My son is four now, but as it stands, he is going to miss a great deal of school if they won't medicate him for fever. Thanks for your help. Carol
