I had a Hystorectomy(sp?) in 1989 and was on hormones for about one year but decided they were't for me. I have been fine until about 1 year ago (turned 54) I started having night sweats once in awhile, now as of late it has been every night, wakes me from a deep sleep and sometimes lasts for an hour before I get comfortable again.What can be causing this? Anyone else have this?

It probably is hormones but it could be some other things. I'd get to the doctor and find out..

Does sound like a hormone imbalance since you already had a hystorectomy.
