Hi. My doctor just prescribed me quinine sulfate for my muscle twitching. Does anyone know if this works, and does it have many side effects? Thanks everyone for your help!

Hi Jen,
I have taken both quinine and klonopin for muscle twitching. They both helped some but neither took it away completely. I didn't really have side effects from either. The quinine isn't a narcotic, so it probably has fewer possible side effects.
