View Full Version : Does Nortriptylene cause sleepiness?

I've been taking 175 mg of Nortriptylene every night for headache prevention for the last year and a half. After a brief period of not working (about 4 months) due to a career change that went awry, I returned to work 10 weeks ago. Since then I have noticed that I can't seem to shake this feeling of sleepiness throughout the day. I was never a coffee drinker before, so I started drinking coffee each morning to try to WAKE UP, but it doesn't seem to be helping much. I get at least 7 hours of sleep every night and I usually wake up to an "internal" alarm clock, so I know I'm getting the sleep I need. Had anyone out there experienced anything similar? I'm trying to figure out if it's worth it to bring this up next week when I see the doctor...

Thanks much~
