Do any former marijuana users feel that they suffer any long term effects after the fact? I was never a chronic user, but smoked socially over the course of about two years. The reason for me stopping was because I started to get more "bad" highs than good. It made me extremely paranoid rather than enjoy it. It's kind of strange because it only started happening 2 years after I first started. It's now about 5 years since I've touched it.

So anyway, about the effects....I currently have issues with social anxiety, fatigue, and motivation/concentration problems. When I try to trace the origin of these problems, it all goes straight back to the time period when I was smoking up.

Is it possible that my marijuana use "brought out" these problems I now have?

Wow, I could have put down the exact same thing. I also smoked for about 2yrs and enjoyed it a first but then stared to get very paranoid everytime I smoked. I have always been a little shy but I believe that the marijuana caused me to become even more self-conscious. I recomend that you diet and exercise to combat your lack of motivation and concentration it has seemed to help me, but it is hard to keep it up.
