Just wondering if fact plus pregnancy test was a good brand or not..i bought one that came with 2 tests and plan on testing around between may 10th-14...ept was like 25 bucks, seriously, lol and i wasn't going to pay that much, at least not this week..the reason i ask is because i just never see it advertised or anything so i didn't know if it was one of those cheapie quality tests or not lol

Hi there...Fact Plus is not really a cheapie quality brand it's just less sensitive than many tests. With Fact Plus it takes 100mIU of HcG to be present in your urine for it to detect a pregnancy, whereas many other brands require less...anywhere from 15mIU to 50mIU...{removed}

You can test the day you were expecting your period. Some tests are now sensitive enough to detect HCG a few days before your period is due. If, however, you have irregular cycles and you're not sure when your period is due, you can test 19 days since the last time you had unprotected intercourse. Remember though that HCG production varies from one woman to another...that's why even if you get a negative on your fisrt try, try retesting in 3 days...HCG levels double every 2-3 days. If you don't want to waste your money, especially if the test is not highly sensitive it would be best to keep it for the day you were due for your period or a few days later.
