I'm not sure if this is the right board.

Is there a difference between the "markers" as my doctor puts it on an EEG for epelepsy (sp?) and for cancerous brain tumors (primary)? I had a bout of confusion last week (could not figure out how to get in my house) and then I could not form meaningful sentences. We all assumed it was a seizure. I had an EEG but nothing was shown--he said no epeleptic markers? Does this mean it was not a seizure? My crainiotomies were in the vicinity of "broca's" area. These episodes occur very rarely over the last several years.

thank you
