Can anyone help me? Last week my 4 year old son had dihorea and at night time in his nappy was two small blood clots. The doc sent me to hospital and they took blood tests and seem to be very vague with this. He has had no problems since. Has anyone had this experiance as I am going out of my mind with worry as they even suggested e-coli?

It could be as simple as an irration to the lining of his colon or intestines from the diarrhea. But of couse without tests the doctors can't completly rule out anything more serious. If there hasn't been any more blood in his stool i wouldn't worry too much. Especially if there wasn't alot to begin with. You may want to talk to the doctors about the likelyhood of it being anything serious, they of course want to rule out anything serious before telling you it's nothing to worry about.
