For about three weeks my almost two year old daughters eyes look a little sucken and sometimes has dark circle under them. First I thought she was dehydrated but eyes don't look much better. Anyone have any ideas. She get usally gets 9 to 10 hrs of sleep. And acts normal.

Hi its Honey. My son has the same problem! He looks like he has two black eyes right now! I have heard that it can be caused by allergies, I think that is probably the case w/my son since my husband has terrible allergy problems and he probably inherited it from him! I am seeing an allergist next month, I will let you know what they say. My son also rubs his eyes alot and sometimes has a running nose (clear). Sometimes he has a dry cough during the night. At first, I would always think it was a cold, but we would use cold meds. and they didn't help. Anyways, sorry to ramble, but the darkness, sunken in look, is always worse when he has the other allergy symptoms. Hope that helps! I will keep you updated after the doc. visit!

Honey, that for the reply. Daughter had a eye appt. Dr. was sure it probably was allergies, and gave us some drops. Would be interested in what the allergest tell you. Thanks Nettie..
